MISSION & HISTORY.
Heart and Soles is a dynamic 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing footwear to those in need while fostering a culture of philanthropy within communities. Our mission is to bring awareness to philanthropy in our community by creating unique experiences and providing footwear for those in need. We accomplish this by ensuring that every child has access to proper footwear, regardless of economic status or other challenges they may face. Through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and impactful initiatives, we strive to address the needs of individuals and families in underserved communities.
OUR
STORY.
Heart and Soles began with a simple yet powerful vision: to ensure every child has access to essential footwear. Founded by Catrice Wilbon and Annescia Jones, Heart and Soles was born out of a deep commitment to serving others and creating positive change in our community. Inspired by personal experiences and a desire to make a difference, with a team of community-minded friends and family, Catrice embarked on a journey to address the footwear needs of children and families in underserved communities. She also believes Heart and Soles’ is a vital voice for promoting the spirit of philanthropy and charitable giving within local communities. With this inspiration, Heart and Soles provides every child they serve with brand-new footwear to build their self-esteem and acknowledge the importance of social acceptance for youth.
